The new state-of-the-art paint shop of EXALCO is housed in the new 4.500 square meter building at the Koulouri factory in Larissa. From the beginning of the project, in collaboration with the procurement department and the production manager in charge of its implementation, we provided solutions through the panel construction, lighting department, and industrial department, with continuous guidance throughout the project’s progress.

Challenges of the Project

EXALCO, one of the largest industries in Thessaly, had high requirements and specifications, as well as tight deadlines for project delivery. The challenge was to design and install a comprehensive and state-of-the-art electrical and lighting system that would ensure the optimal operation of the facilities while enhancing the visual comfort and safety of the workers. Another challenge we faced was the proper and timely coordination of all involved departments (presales, industry, lighting, MV & LV panel building, and Larissa store).

From Vision to Design

EXALCO relied on our expertise to select the final solutions. The lighting plan was created based on AutoCAD files with precise machine positions and heights, and a specialized photometric study was conducted according to real conditions, which was then implemented. For the construction of the panels, there was continuous communication between the Business Unit (BU) and the end-users, as a custom-made solution emerged that covered both existing and future needs, combining quality construction with on-time delivery.
