The Project

The Greek company Larisa Slaughterhouse S.A. is located in the area of Gyrtoni, approximately 20 kilometers outside of Larisa, and was founded in 1996.

KAFKAS’ Contribution

At the state-of-the-art facilities of the company, the KAFKAS lighting team proposed energy-efficient upgrade solutions for both the internal and external areas of the building, with the goal of reducing energy consumption by utilizing LED technology. Additionally, an economic feasibility study was conducted to identify the existing consumption levels and the payback period of the proposed investment.

Through KAFKAS’ recommendations, the annual energy consumption was reduced by up to 60%, with a total energy savings of 71,350 kWh, covering both internal and external areas. The product selection ensured optimal lighting distribution and safety throughout the facility.
