The Project

The 5-star Wyndham Grand Athens hotel is located in Karaiskaki Square, in a building of 2,500 m2, which, in addition to the 273 fully equipped rooms, includes meeting and event spaces, a restaurant, bar, spa, and an exceptional Roof Garden with a pool and panoramic views of the entire city of Athens.

KAFKAS’ Contribution

KAFKAS’ goal was to establish the guidelines for providing integrated lighting solutions for the interior spaces of the hotel through direct collaboration with the engineering team that managed the project. This collaboration ensured the proper assessment of the lighting needs for the hotel. The overall lighting approach aimed to create a visually perfect result, with the selection of appropriate lighting elements that were in complete harmony with the architectural design of the building and the minimalist decor of the interior spaces.

The Wyndham Grand Athens is one of the most significant projects in KAFKAS’ lighting portfolio, as an excellent lighting result was achieved, emphasizing the design and architectural philosophy of the space. In this particular project, all the lighting products that were proposed and ultimately used for the interior spaces were selected, in close cooperation with the project’s engineering team, to deliver a distinctive, minimalist yet luxurious style.
