The Project

The Sunrise Villas are located in the traditional village of Tsagarada, strategically situated on the main road connecting the village to the unique Fakistra Beach. Their privileged position offers easy access to the village squares and the beaches of Fakistra and Milopotamos, while also providing uninterrupted views of the Aegean Sea.

The lighting design for the exterior focused on enhancing the natural colors and the stone walls of the property. Pool lighting was also installed to highlight the pool area during the night. For the interior spaces, lighting fixtures, LED strips, switchgear, cables, plastics, electrical panels, and rail system materials were incorporated. To ensure the safety of the spaces and the visitors, automatic gas detectors and safety lighting were also installed.

Challenges of the Project

Sunrise Villas consist of two buildings, which include four independent holiday homes, a shared swimming pool, and a gazebo. The primary focus of the design was to ensure the functionality of the spaces to best serve the tenants of Sunrise Villas, while maintaining high aesthetic and construction quality throughout the development.

In the exterior spaces, high-quality materials were used with durability suited for a seaside environment, and LED products were implemented for energy efficiency.

From Vision to Design

The vision for the lighting design of both the exterior and interior spaces was to highlight and showcase the natural elements and traditional architecture of Sunrise Villas. High-resilience lighting fixtures were chosen for the exterior to withstand various environmental conditions. For the interior, the lighting design was aimed at harmonizing with the interior decoration, creating a familiar and cozy atmosphere.
