The Project

The KN Ionian Suites was established in 2020 and is located in Nikiana, just 50 meters from the beach and 5 km from Nidri. It offers free private parking, a bar, and a terrace. The hotel consists of 12 rooms. Each air-conditioned room is equipped with Wi-Fi and a safe. All rooms feature a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and a patio overlooking the pool.

Challenges of the Project

The KAFKAS lighting team participated in the lighting design for both the interior and the surrounding exterior spaces. A key challenge was highlighting the architecture and aesthetic of the hotel. Additionally, the team played a crucial role in creating a unique lighting effect that maintained the required lighting levels throughout the spaces, ensuring visual comfort for both guests and staff.

From Vision to Design

KAFKAS’ vision was to highlight and enhance the hotel’s architecture and aesthetics, as well as the quality of materials, colors, and textures, through lighting. By selecting the right lighting fixtures and adjusting the required lighting levels, we shaped the final character of the hotel, creating a guest-friendly atmosphere. Ultimately, our goal was to ensure, through appropriate color rendering, visual comfort and safety for both the staff and guests.
