The Project

ZEUS Exclusive Villas is a brand-new complex located in the southeastern part of Kefalonia, in the beautiful area of Paliolinos, just 15 minutes from Argostoli. Hera, the queen of the villas, Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, and Artemis, the wild nature, welcome guests to their spaces and generously offer incomparable tranquility with a view of the endless blue of the Ionian Sea, on a 40-acre property. The spacious outdoor areas combine traditional stone details with modern touches, pleasing the eye. All outdoor areas feature an impressive private pool surrounded by a deck with sun loungers, a patio with a dining area and lounge, and a barbecue. The interior spaces are designed in a minimal style with boho accents and wooden decorations. The large balcony doors allow sunlight to flood the space. The spacious bedrooms, all with private marble bathrooms, feature comfortable beds and earthy tones in their aesthetic. The layout of each villa includes a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a dining area and a comfortable, elegantly decorated living room.

Challenges of the Project

The challenge we faced in this project was to combine the natural landscape and stone craftsmanship with lighting. The Lighting Manager of KAFKAS, in collaboration with the architectural office, created a lighting design that highlights both the exterior and interior character of the complex, while reflecting Greek hospitality and inviting guests to experience the most private and warm atmosphere.

From Vision to Design

The vision of our team, in collaboration with the architectural office and the project’s electrician, was to implement a lighting design that would highlight both the exterior area with its traditional stone craftsmanship and the interior environment of the complex with its minimal design, boho accents, and wooden decorations. All of these elements, combined with the Greek essence, create an atmosphere of hospitality and intimacy for the guests.
