The Project

The project involved the supply, maintenance, repair, replacement, and installation of lighting fixtures, as well as the installation of new LED technology poles suitable for the fixtures in the buildings and sports facilities (swimming pool, basketball courts, etc.) of the Municipality of Filothei-Psychiko, in compliance with current regulations and lighting standards.

The goal of the project was to achieve high-quality lighting in terms of uniformity, visual comfort, and minimizing light pollution in the municipality’s recreational sports facilities, while also reducing glare and light pollution.

KAFKAS’ Contribution

KAFKAS supplied LED floodlights that were installed to meet the requirements of climate change, achieving high luminous efficacy (lm/W) and functionality in high ambient temperatures (Ta=50°C). These floodlights feature high levels of protection and impact resistance (IK10) and are manufactured in accordance with the European Union’s directives and standards, bearing the CE mark.

The LED floodlights used in this project have an innovative design: the reinforced body construction, combined with an easy and quick adjustment mechanism for horizontal alignment, which can be performed without tools, thanks to two special rotary adjustment switches for tilt settings.
