The Project

The relocation of OPAP S.A. to a new building marked a series of changes and upgrades to the equipment to meet the needs of the facility. The new building spans 8 floors with a total mixed area of 12,000 m², plus 4 underground floors totaling 10,000 m² with 250 parking spaces. The 1,000 workstations are designed with high aesthetic and ergonomic standards, requiring certified high-quality construction materials. The modern electrical installation, as well as the new data transmission and management system, complement OPAP’s vision for a technologically advanced building.

Kafkas’ Contribution

The design of the solution was carried out in collaboration with OPAP and with the support of the consultant, who helped analyze the operational requirements of the installation. The technical solution proposed was based on Structured Cabling Cat6A, 4 Post Racks, Intelligent PDUs – Panduit. Additionally, the solution for angled patch panels and open frames was promoted, ensuring space savings. A reliable high-performance solution was developed, ensuring space efficiency in the telecommunications rooms and providing a 25-year performance warranty for the data room system. All operational requirements and specific needs of a high-tech facility were successfully met.
