The Project
The Masticha Museum of Chios is located in the Mastihochoria of South Chios, at the unique point in the Mediterranean where the mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus) is cultivated, and from which mastic is produced. The museum aims to highlight the productive history of mastic cultivation and processing, integrating it into the cultural landscape of Chios.
KAFKAS’ Contribution
The specialized team at KAFKAS provided comprehensive solutions for the museum. Recognizing the needs of a modern museum, the KAFKAS team took the necessary measures to supply and install all required items. Specifically, they provided power cables, ideal for correctly powering each device and installation.
Additionally, the team supplied the museum with plastic materials, conduits, and junction boxes, as well as multi-purpose cables such as antenna cables, speaker wires, and alarm system cables. To ensure proper cable management, they provided metal trays, cable ties, and network cables.
If external installation was needed, the museum was equipped with waterproof boxes for outdoor use. Furthermore, KAFKAS provided grounding materials for the safe operation of the systems, as well as telephone equipment.
