Racks/cabinets are designed and installed within the building structure to provide ease of installation, maintenance, and management of the cabling infrastructure. The choice of cabinet depends on the network’s needs, the building’s scale, and technical requirements.
They can host active equipment, either horizontally or vertically, facilitating cable management and providing easy access to patch panels.
Closed-type cabinets are modular with removable doors and side panels. They come in heights of 42, 48, and 52 rack units (RU), with widths of 600 mm or 800 mm, and depths of 1000 mm or 1200 mm.
The cabinets feature a single front perforated curved door with 69% airflow and double rear perforated doors with locks. On the two sides of the cabinet, there are two horizontal side sections with locks or provided as additional accessories. The 800 mm wide cabinets are designed to accommodate optional routing and cable management accessories in both the front and rear. Additionally, in concentration points, open frames are used for easy management of connections.
