The Project

The newly built 5-star hotel Cactus Royal Spa & Resort is located to the east of Heraklion, on the beach of Stalida, and combines classic hotel luxury with tradition.

The Contribution of Kafkas

The goal of the project was to achieve a complete energy upgrade of the lighting system (Relighting & Relamping) using LED technology products within a 5-month timeframe. The focus was on the design and creation of warm, welcoming spaces for the guests. Additionally, the lighting proposal aimed to harmonize modern aesthetics with the scattered traditional elements in the interior spaces such as the rooms, spa, lobby, restaurant, gym, and outdoor areas.

A unique aspect of this project was the design of custom lighting fixtures that met the functional and aesthetic requirements set by the decorators for the rooms.

The result was harmonious with the surrounding environment, creating a relaxed and warm atmosphere for the guests. At the same time, the special lighting fixtures in selected areas highlighted the architecture of the spaces without altering their traditional elements.
