The Project

Cyta (Cyprus Telecommunications Authority) is the national telecommunications organization of Cyprus and the primary provider of internet and mobile telecommunications services. As part of its efforts to upgrade its operations, Cyta expanded its offices in Greece by investing in a new building, which includes the installation of a data center.

Kafkas’ Contribution

For the development of the equipment solution, Kafkas designed solutions with corner-mounted copper and fiber optic Patch Panels, telecommunications equipment and server cabinets, open racks, grounding systems, and floor hole sealing for raised flooring. These measures were implemented to meet the high standards and requirements of the project.

Through the design and supply of equipment, operational flexibility, high capacity, scalability were ensured, while also minimizing the risk of data loss and reducing operational costs.

Finally, Kafkas contributed to the performance of the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), optimizing energy efficiency for the data center.
