The Project

In early 2021, the state-of-the-art Olympion Rehabilitation & Recovery Center began its operation in the Yofirakia area, very close to the center of Heraklion, Crete. The center is located on a privately owned plot of 10,000 square meters, with three floors (1,200 m²/floor), an underground MV substation, a therapeutic pool, offices, and 79-bed rooms.

The Contribution of KAFKAS

The challenge for our team was the design and delivery of a center that would be equipped with the latest technology electrical panels and equipment. The project design was carried out by our experienced team, which included a lighting study where LED strips, spots, and outdoor floodlights were installed to highlight the building installations and ensure the safety of walkways. Another goal, due to the remote management of the project, was to deliver it within the predetermined timeframes.

The KAFKAS team from the Patras N.E.O. store, in collaboration with the engineer and the MV & LV PANEL BUILDING department, had the vision to design and deliver a state-of-the-art center distinguished by safety and energy efficiency. Additionally, the MV substation was calculated based on the total consumption of the installation, and the advantages of the Legrand MV switchgear were presented, allowing the project to proceed promptly.
