The Project

Villa Aroma welcomes you to the serene rhythms of vacation in Agia Marina, one of the most renowned coastal destinations in Crete, known for its vibrant atmosphere and beautiful beaches. The luxurious villa features 6 bedrooms and 2 outdoor pools. Situated just a short distance from the beach, shops, and restaurants, Villa Aroma offers complete privacy to its guests.

Challenges of the Project

Our team’s goal was to create a comprehensive lighting design that would make the villa stand out in the area, without disturbing the surrounding environment. The choice of lighting fixtures was based on the villa’s décor, ensuring they blend seamlessly with the interior and enhance the luxurious character of the accommodation. Additionally, energy efficiency was an important criterion for selecting the fixtures, providing cost-saving solutions for the owner.

From Vision to Design

The entrance of the villa is imposing, with steps that gradually lead to the main spaces. Accent lighting highlights the columns above the ground-floor pool, while wall washers ensure an even light distribution on the stone wall of the surrounding fence in front of the lawn. Together, these elements create a play of light and shadow, resembling a theatrical stage. The color temperature (CCT) was chosen to be 3000K for all areas, with appropriate direction for each use. All the lighting fixtures in the new installation were selected with LED technology to ensure energy efficiency.
