Schneider Electric, maintaining the same philosophy regarding flexibility of the equipment and customer service (as always) and at the same time responding to the demands of the new era, developed a new series of Medium Voltage Panels with pure air as switching medium – the SMAir Set series. ​

SMAir Set represents a new generation of Medium Voltage circuit breakers. As insulation, it uses pressurized air and does not use SF6 gas, avoiding all the environmental effects that the use of this gas has on the environment. ​

In addition, the new SMAir Set series has new advanced digital capabilities, fully compatible with the Schneider IoT-Enabled Eco Structure architecture, allowing the user to have greater supervision of the installation site and be able to examine its “health” in real time from anywhere the customer wishes. Doing so, reduces the operational errors of the equipment, leads to a more correct maintenance program and ensures the maximum possible operation of the installation site under the best conditions.
