The SM6 Series of Medium Voltage Panels has been designed based on this extensive experience, giving the best result in terms of service level and operator safety.
The metal-clad M.V. fields of the SM6 series use sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) as a switching medium and have air as an insulating medium (AIS-Air Insulated Systems).

Internal arc resistance IAC: AF, AFL, AFLR
Schneider Electric can also extend the installation features through control, monitoring and protection devices that provide facility protection, uninterrupted power supply and limit downtime.
Panels may contain a withdrawable or sliding type circuit breaker (sulfur hexafluoride-SF6 or vacuum technology), load disconnector, disconnector and/or power relay.
